Yesterday I enjoyed sooo much the dinner at Cesare’s place, my good old friend from Mantua. Look inside how beautiful, very seasonal, local and even sexy everything was. 🙂

Jučer sam naprosto uživao u večeri kod Cesarea, mog dobrog starog mantovanskog prijatelja. Pogledajte kako je sve bilo tako lijepo, vrlo sezonsko, lokalno pa čak i seksi. 🙂

Cesare is the guy who has amazing talent to make the best desserts in the world, better than any pastry shop I ever visited. Look at this wonderful dark chocolate pralines with Indian spices he made some time ago. He is an artist not only in sweet stuff, I’m just jealous on him I am not skilled enough in this delicate patisserie business. Last night we ate everything based on chestnuts, porcini mushrooms and pomegranate… What can be more seasonal now that these simple ingredients? I know, we missed only a good pumpkin.

Cesare je lik koji ima nevjerojatan talent za najbolje deserte na svijetu, bolje on bilo koje slastičarnice koju sam imao priliku posjetiti. Pogledajte ove predivne praline od tamne čokolade sa indijskim začinima koje je napravio prije neko vrijeme. Ali nije on samo umjetnik sa slatkim, samo sam ja ljubomoran da nisam tako vješt u tom delikatnom slastičarskom biznisu. Sinoć smo kod njega jeli sve bazirano na kestenima, vrganjima i naru… Što sada može biti sezonskije o ova tri jednostavna sastojka? Znam, falila je samo još dobra bundeva.

Then, we started atacking a good salami from Mantua and continued with chestnut cream soup with fresh and fried porcini mushrooms. Click on the link for the recipe.

Potom, napali smo prefinu mantovansku salamu i nastavili sa baršunastom kestenovom krem juhom sa friganim i svježim vrganjima. Klikni na link za recept.

The dessert was pannacotta with pomegranate seeds. That inside hides gelatine with pomegranate juice. That is so beautiful I would hang it on the wall as a painting. I owe you the recipe. Have a nice weekend!

Desert je bio pannacotta sa narom. Koja unutra skriva želatinu sa sokom od nara. I koji je toliko lijep da bi ga najrađe objesio na zid kao sliku. Dugujem vam recept. Ugodan vikend!
